eSIM Reviews
Privacy by design
eSIM Reviews collects the minimum evidence needed to make a field report useful and to prevent duplicate rewards.
Manual reviews
You can publish a review without using capture. We store the provider or linked RoamGo product, country, optional broad area, ratings, recommendation, review text, evidence label, and reward disclosure. A manual self-reported review receives no reward and contains no measured network evidence.
What a capture can include
With your explicit consent, the web app may submit timestamps, online status, browser-reported connection estimates, measured latency, optional speed-test results, browser platform, country, and a coarse area label you provide. Native apps may additionally submit carrier, MCC/MNC, radio technology, roaming state, and signal measurements where the operating system permits.
Browser limits
A browser cannot read your ICCID, activation code, active eSIM identity, APN configuration, carrier name, roaming state, or signal strength. Web captures are labeled as browser evidence and rely on your explicit confirmation that Wi-Fi is off and the selected eSIM supplies the connection.
Battery and mobile data
The web capture performs one small latency check and telemetry upload each minute. After the page loads, automatic capture is designed to use less than 1 MB per hour, although actual network overhead can vary. Optional speed tests never run automatically and download about 0.35 MB each time you start one. The capture does not use GPS. Battery use varies by phone, signal strength, screen brightness, and other activity; keeping a browser and cellular connection active uses some power, so we recommend a charger for long sessions. Locking the phone or leaving the tab in the background may pause browser capture and those gaps do not earn credit. Native clients sample about once every two minutes and can operate with the screen off where the operating system permits.
What we do not publish
We do not publish your email, name, ICCID, external purchase reference, device identifier, exact coordinates, precise route, activation code, QR code, QR fingerprint, SM-DP+ address, or IP address. Device identifiers, external purchase references, and matched activation tokens are stored only as keyed one-way fingerprints where needed for duplicate prevention.
RoamGo account verification
For an eligible RoamGo purchase, the signed-in account must own the selected eSIM and RoamGo's fulfillment record must show it as installed, active, depleted, or expired. Review verification does not require uploading an activation QR, activation code, receipt, or account password.
Rewards and verification
Self-reported reviews receive no reward. Eligible RoamGo reviews can receive up to $1 when the signed-in account owns the eSIM and RoamGo records show it was used. Web and native capture rewards continue to accrue from verified capture time. All review rewards share the $5 per-account UTC daily limit. Ratings never affect eligibility or the earning rate.
Review invitations
After an eligible retail RoamGo eSIM has recorded use, we may send one review invitation to the order email. We store the invitation attempt count, send time, and a limited delivery error for retry and duplicate prevention. Every invitation includes a signed one-click opt-out; using it suppresses future review invitations to the same email without affecting essential order or delivery messages.
Control and deletion
You can stop a capture or abandon a manual review before submission. Contact [email protected] to request export or deletion of your account and unpublished review data, subject to published-review integrity and financial-record retention requirements.
